Weltferne and Sakaya

Weltferne and her newborn Sezuan foal

Wyandah Performance Horses is a small boutique stud aiming to produce only a few exceptionally bred foals each year. They must have impeccable Grand Prix bloodlines on each side and deep into the pedigree. To this end, we made a decision to enrich our local breeding mare herd by importing several carefully chosen mares from Germany over the next few years.

The majority of these mares we have bought as foals, raised in Germany and then they have completed their mare performance test and competed in sport before coming to us.

Rainmaker R

The first of these mares arrived safely into our quarantine paddocks early December. And alongside them representing all that is so exciting about our Australian Grand Prix bloodlines, is the exquisite Rainmaker R.

In late 2016, we imported 3 more of our German mares: Pr Denira (Hann) (De Niro/Hohenstein/Baryshnikov), StPr Sonara (OLD) (Sezuan/De Niro/Hohenstein) and Foundina (OLD) (Foundation/Day Dream/Rubinstein). We feel very privileged and extremely lucky to have these amazing mares at home with us in Australia.

Black mare, 16.1hh, DOB: 27/11/06

Rainmaker RRainmaker R is a spectacular young mare who carries a double cross of the great dressage stallion Donnerhall, a gold medallist with the German team at Atlanta Olympics 1996. Rainmaker R has movement that defies gravity and just dances through the air. Regardez Moi is an Australian Grand Prix Champion. Misty Morning is by Richmeed Medallion (dec), himself a Grand Prix dressage horse by Danish stallion May Sherif. May Sherif to this day is the only stallion to sire two World Cup winners in Andiamo, also a gold medallist with Sven Rothenberger and Matador with Kyra Kirklund, also an Olympic medallist. Rainmaker

Desert Gold is by Dutch Gold, Olympic mount with Jennie Loriston-Clarke, and Dutch Gold is by Dutch Courage, 6th at the substitute Moscow Olympics, again with Jennie Loriston-Clarke. All of that, plus the fact that Kenare Snowshoes is by Salute, also the sire of Victory Salute ridden by Brett Parbery, makes Rainmaker R a dazzling array of dressage genetics.

Rainmaker produced a bay colt foal by Jive Magic (Jazz) in 2009 - Jive's Reign and a black filly foal in 2010 by Fiji (Florencio) - Firedancer.

Rainmaker and Decaprio

Rainmaker and Decaprio

In late October 2011, she produced a stunning colt foal by Desperados, a young stallion currently competing successfully at Grand Prix level in Germany. After weaning Decaprio, Rainmaker was broken to saddle and has now had her second foal to Desperados in 2013, a black filly called Dreamcatcher. Currently "DeeCee" has been started under saddle (2016) and is exceptional in every way. Very exciting!

Rainmaker has given us yet another spectacular black filly foal, Fuersrtenstern (aka Tigga) in 2015 by the supersire Fuerstenball.

dalinea s (imp) (old)

Black mare, 16.3hh, DOB: 05/03/2008

Rainmaker R

StPrSt Dalinea S is a spectacular young mare who carries on both sides and throughout her pedigree undoubtedly some of the best Grand Prix dressage genes in the world today.

This majestic black beauty is by Sandro Hit who is one of the decade's most influential sires of performance progeny. Dalinea's damline is equally impressive. She shares the same damline as the wonderful young stallion Scolari.

Her dam StPrSt Doris Day is by De Niro who in turn is by the legendary Donnerhall. It doesn't get any better than this! Dalinea is bred by one of the most highly respected and knowledgable breeders in Germany, Willhelm Klausing. His son Heiko Klausing broke her to saddle and competed her lightly.

We were lucky enough to purchase Dalinea a couple of months before she was due to take her mare performance test where she attained scores in the top 15%. She is a star! Her temperament is unbelievable. So calm and confident.

Dalinea has produced a gorgeous colt foal, Rasmus by the Danish Grand Prix Stallion Blue Hors Romanov. She will continue in 2013 with her sport career.

weltferne (imp) (old)

Bay mare, 16.2hh, DOB: 11/02/2008

Rainmaker RStPrSt Weltferne is a gorgeous bay mare by Swarovski, the sensational Sandro Hit stallion whose pedigree on both sides is littered with the who's who of the dressage elite: Rubinstein, Don Gregory and Donnerhall.

On her dam side is the highly talented Fuerst Heinrich, 2003 World Young Horse Dressage Champion, whose life was tragically cut short at the age of seven. He was indeed a stunning stallion who passed on his lovely nature to his offspring.

Then the dam's dam sire is the mighty Weltmeyer of whom there is nothing more to be said. He is a legend. As the AHS put it, "Weltmeyer continues to almost single-handedly reshape the Hanoverian breed."

This collection of modern warmblood masterpieces has resulted in this beautiful mare with the most incredible temperament and 3 electrifying paces. Her trot is out of this world!

Her mare performance test in Germany in July 2011, resulted in a top 5 score. Weltferne has had a colt by Hotline in 2012 and a filly by Sezuan in 2016 in between competing and placing 5th at Nationals in Novice and being named on the Dressage Futures Squad for NSW.

florida II (imp) (Hann)

Chestnut mare, mature 16.3hh, DOB: 07/03/2010

Florida 18 months

Florida II

In late 2010, the first of our imported stock arrived at the farm from Germany.

Her name is Florida II (Florestan I/Donnerhall/Pik Bube I). She is sired by one of the most influential sires of the last 20 years, Florestan I.

Florestan I

Florestan I

The impressive Florestan who was the winner in his year's Stallion Performance Test in Warendorf with a total index of 129,02 points, won both the dressage and show jumping division. He has ninety sons that are licensed for breeding (Fidermark, Florencio, French Kiss, First Dance, Festrausch, Fleurop, Florentinus V, Floresco, Florestano, Florianus, Florett As, Furstenreich, Furst Heinrich, etc. ) and 222 daughters were proclaimed State Premium mares. Her damsire Donnerhall needs no introduction.

Florida has the perfect genetic pedigree for dressage and carries all the foundation lines of the classical German breeding program. Her confirmation is faultless. Her temperament and rideability peerless.

Florida II

Florida's temperament is astounding! Nothing fazes this girl and she is an absolute delight in every way. She has recently been broken to saddle and was soft, easy and beautiful to ride. In 2013, she delivered us the most beautiful colt foal by San Amour. Sachio has gone on to be one of the best horses we have bred and raised and has recently been purchased by top young dressage and show rider Edwina Hutton-Potts to continue with his sport career.

In 2016, Florida gave us a simply "out of this world" filly by Sir Donnerhall. Beautiful, uphill and with incredible movement and her mother's very special temperament, Siritana has recently been awarded Elite status at the 2017 ACE classification with a huge score of 85.75%!!!
